WHAT TO DO BEFORE USING PEST CONTROL SPRAYS

• Before applying any spray pesticide treatment, send kids and pets outside to play or to another room in the house.

• Remove toys and food from the treatment area.¹

• Always make sure to read the label carefully! Many of our products have different usage instructions and precautions, so make sure you’re applying your treatment correctly and according to the label.

EXPERT TIP

Before using pest-control products, check all window and door screens, if you have them, to make sure they’re intact and repair any holes in the screens. This will help prevent bugs from coming inside while you ventilate your home after treatment.

HOW TO APPLY PEST-CONTROL SPRAYS

• Only apply pest-control sprays while your kids and pets are outside or in another room of your home.

• After applying insecticide spray products, exit the treated area, keep the room closed and let the product dry before returning. Be sure to check the label for instructions on how long to stay away from the treated area.

• Once the product is dry, open all windows to ventilate the room thoroughly.

• Don’t forget to read the product label for more detailed instructions.

HOW TO USE INSECT FOGGERS

• Improper use ofinsect foggersor "bug bombs," can be dangerous. So be sure to read the label carefully for specific treatment information and precautions.

• Fogger products require leaving your home for the amount of time instructed on the label.

• Upon returning home, open all doors and windows and allow the room to air out for the length of time instructed on the label.

KEEP PEST-CONTROL PRODUCTS AWAY FROM KIDS & PETS

If you’re usingbug bait,place them in areas where your kids or pets can’t find or reach them. Some good hiding spaces include:

• Under or behind sinks or appliances

• In hidden cracks or crevices

• Under or behind furniture

• In child-proof cabinets or pantries

BE SMART ABOUT STORAGE

Always be sure to store pest-control products in a place where kids and children can’t access them, even if they haven’t been used yet or are still in the package.
